Our Mission

 

The Wyoming Wind Coalition, created in 2017, is the leading forum that promotes the jobs, revenue, and opportunities that wind power can bring to Wyoming.  Wyoming carries a vast and rich wind resource base, with some of the best Class 6 and 7 wind resources in the country.

 

With a new vision, Wyoming can become a global leader in wind technology, creating new jobs, building a manufacturing industry, and powering new businesses with renewable energy, all combining to diversify Wyoming's economy.

The Coalition's goals over the next decade:

1. To bring a significant number of jobs to Wyoming connected to the wind industry

3. Significantly increase the annual wind revenue tax base

4. Attract wind manufacturing facilities and businesses that want to procure renewable energy to set up operations in Wyoming.
